Removal, storage and restoration of contents
Furniture, clothing, documents and stock often have to leave the building so the structure can be cleaned and dried. Items that can be restored are packed separately from items that cannot. A list goes with them.
Temporary storage is for the period of the clean, not an open-ended warehouse. When the rooms are ready, restorable contents come back. The point of the list is so nothing is discarded because nobody wrote it down on the day.
